Privacy Policy
Effective: July 8, 2026
Short version: the only personal information we collect is what you type into the quote form, and its whole purpose is to be passed to licensed contractors who can do your job — that's the service. We don't run ads, we don't sell data to marketers, and you can ask us to delete your request at any time. The site is operated by 1001666860 Ontario Inc. (Ontario, Canada).
What we collect
- Quote requests — what you enter in the form: name, phone and/or email, property address or town, county, the service you need and your description of the job.
- Anti-spam technical data — the IP address and browser signature of a form submission. Used only for rate-limiting and duplicate detection.
- Contractor business data — listings are built from public sources (CSLB license records, Fire Safe Council lists, Google business profiles). This is business information, not consumer data; contractors can correct or claim their listing.
We don't use advertising trackers or sell browsing data. Basic, cookie-less traffic analytics come from our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
Who we share it with
- Contractors. When you send a quote request, we forward it — including your name and contact details — to one or more licensed contractors serving your county who match the work you described. This is the entire purpose of the form, and it may include contractors who pay us for placement or leads.
- Service providers that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (contractor billing only — homeowners never enter payment data here).
- Nobody else. No data brokers, no ad networks, no list rental.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept while we need them to operate the service — matching, follow-up and simple bookkeeping of what was forwarded where. If you want your request removed sooner, email us (below) and we delete it.
Your rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA: to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted, and to opt out of it being shared. Because our operator is Canadian, your information is also handled under Canada's PIPEDA. In practice both come down to the same thing here: email us and we will show you what we have, correct it, or delete it — normally within a few days, and we never discriminate for exercising these rights.
