Tree Service in Tehama County in 30 secondsWhat it covers, how we rank
6 tree services are listed for Tehama County, ranked below by public Google rating and review count (paid placements are labeled and shown first). Under California PRC 4291, homes in fire hazard severity zones must maintain 100 feet of defensible space — most of these contractors also handle the full clearance scope.
Wildfire-focused tree work removes the fuels that carry fire into the canopy and onto the roof: dead and dying trees, low limbs, and branches overhanging the home. PRC 4291 specifically requires keeping trees near structures free of dead wood and keeping branches clear of the chimney.
